The refuge is located at the center of the circus northern Sorapiss, almost to the edge of the base surface and where the waterfall plunges. A few minutes from the Refuge, separated by a short hill, there is the wonderful lake of turquoise color.

Refuge Lagazuoi
The refuge Lagazuoi is one of the most elevated mountain inns in the Dolomites. It is nestled on the summit of Mount Lagazuoi above Passo Falzarego, half way between Cortina d’Ampezzo and Val Badia, between the Natural Park of Fanes and Sennes and the one of the Ampezzo Dolomites. It can be easily reached hiking or by the Lagazuoi cable car.
